General Member
General Members are the foundation of QUBIC’s community. They participate in our events, programs, and initiatives, contributing to a vibrant network of students interested in biotechnology commercialization and consulting.
Core Focus:
Engagement, learning, and optional contribution to QUBIC activities.
Key Opportunities & Contributions:

Event Participation:

Attend QUBIC hosted workshops, speaker sessions, and networking events

Gain exposure to industry and entrepreneurial insights in biotechnology and related fields.

Competition Involvement:

Apply individually or as part of a team for QUBIC’s flagship Innovation to Commercial Strategy (ITCS) Pitch Competition.

Access coaching, mentorship, and team resources to develop commercialization strategies.

Volunteering:

Support event execution by helping with set-up, registration, guest guidance, or other logistics.

Optionally contribute to social media promotion, outreach, or other one-off needs.
Feedback and Community Input:

share ideas and suggestions for future QUBIC initiatives to help shape programming.
Expectations:

Maintain a professional, respectful, and inclusive attitude when engaging with QUBIC programs or representing QUBIC publicly.

No minimum specific participation requirements beyond abiding by QUBIC’s code of conduct, however should a General Member be accepted to a ITCS Pitch Team - they must adhere to the participation requirements for the specific program (more info to come).
